Lovely long weekend, we cleaned house, took the first step towards a 10th-anniversary trip to Ireland (taking new passport photos and sending off the applications to get them updated), ate reasonably healthy (sausage and creamy tomato sauce over butternut "noodles"), I am halfway through the first episode of the new Critical Role campaign and want to marry Mollymauk, AND I talked Yeats into going to see "The Shape of Water". He was pushing for a second viewing of "The Last Jedi", which I am certainly not against, but since it's a minor miracle that TSoW actually came to a theater near us, we agreed that we should seize the opportunity and support Del Toro when we had the chance. We both really liked it, I thought everyone did a wonderful job acting-wise, the Asset was beautiful and scary and only just human enough to make the romance with Elisa plausible, and I want to hug Dr. Hofstadler forever.
To work! Possibly only for one day, since snow is looming in the forecast again, so let's mail and/or file all the things while we can.
Reading Log: Red Wolf by Jennifer Ashley; Mansfield Park by Jane Austen (TEAM FANNY PRICE); Seriously Hexed by Tina Connolly; Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton; Darkness Before Dawn by J.A. London; Beneath the Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire; Soldier of the Mist by Gene Wolfe
