Oh, vanity

I henna'd up my hair today, as I would like to be minimally grey when we go to Ireland (in three weeks and two days!). And somehow while doing so, I missed one long swathe on the left side of my head. I have a freakin' skunk stripe of brown-liberally-threaded-with-grey swooping through the auburn.

Yeats says I look fine, and he will drop by Lush after his half-day of meetings on Monday and buy some more henna so I can fix this. And staring in the mirror, I know that the people at the farmer's market tomorrow, and Aveline and Anders at work on Monday, will not notice it. But oh lord, I do.
